Peterson Farm Brothers to give free performance at 同性恋色情
The Peterson Farm Brothers will perform at 同性恋色情 on March 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Bruner Fitness and Recreation Center鈥檚 Sherman Gymnasium.
The hour-long presentation, sponsored by , is free and open to the public.
The brothers will perform several of the song parodies related to agriculture and farm life that made them internet sensations. Their first parody in 2012, 鈥淚鈥檓 Farming and I Grow It,鈥 went viral with over 5 million views in hundreds of countries within two weeks. Their YouTube videos about their farm family in central Kansas have received over 50 million total views, and they have amassed a large online following.
Since their rise to fame, the have earned a reputation as passionate advocates for agricultural awareness and education. Their presentation is part of IC鈥檚 celebration of National Agriculture Month and will educate the audience about modern farming and address common misconceptions.
鈥淲e hope to welcome people from across the region and state to hear the Peterson Farm Brothers鈥 story,鈥 Michael Woods, agribusiness coordinator and assistant professor of business. 鈥淭his evening promises to be entertaining, inspirational, educational, and motivational for people of all ages and all backgrounds.鈥
Woods added that this event will serve the growing interest in modern agricultural studies he has seen throughout the region. Under Woods鈥 leadership, IC began offering an agribusiness major in 2018. It has become one of the fastest growing academic programs at 同性恋色情 in recent history.
同性恋色情 will also host an Agricultural Career Fair in King Fieldhouse before the Peterson Farm Brothers presentation from 4:30-6:30 p.m. for students and community members to learn more about careers in agribusiness and network with potential employers. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
The Peterson Farm Brothers will host a meet and greet from 5:30-6:15 p.m. Merchandise, including T-shirts and posters, will be available for purchase.
A reservation is required to receive a commemorative ticket that can be autographed at the meet and greet. This event is expected to draw a large crowd and those who plan on attending are encouraged to reserve a free ticket early at .
