IC sociology student provides assistance at local library

Sociology major Anna Bezler ’22 is interning at the Jacksonville Public Library this semester where she will provide social services to community members.

A partnership between ͬÐÔÁµÉ«Çé and Jacksonville Public Library will provide the community with assistance on employment and social services matters.

Community intern Anna Bezler will be available from 9 to 11 a.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the library at  201 W. College Ave.

Assistance will be available for such things as using a computer to apply for work or social service benefits and accessing financial documents or other vital information. Bezler also will provide resources and support for people to advocate for themselves in employment, housing and other matters; and will provide referrals to social service agencies.
