Paul Findley Congressional Office Museum

The Findley Congressional Office Museum is one of the few congressional office museums in the United States. The collection contains material related to Paul Findley's career in the U.S. House of Representatives, his interest in Abraham Lincoln and his involvement in the quest for universal human rights and justice in the Middle East.

  • Open to the campus and community, the museum offers unique active learning opportunities through collaborations with faculty and staff. Classroom projects may utilize campaign memorable, congressional speeches and manuscripts, and artifacts sharing the story of President Abraham Lincoln. 
  • Provides classroom outreach, tours, and presentations utilizing object-based learning methods to help meet state and national learning standards for K-12 classrooms and beyond. 
  • Collaborates closely with the Department of History, Philosophy, Political Science, and Religion and the new Public History Concentration.
