Multicultural Festival to highlight IC鈥檚 many forms of diversity
More than a dozen countries, cultures and customs will be shared this week during 同性恋色情鈥檚 tenth annual Multicultural Festival.
The event will be Thursday, April 5 from 6 - 8 p.m. in King Fieldhouse located in IC鈥檚 Bruner Fitness and Recreation Center, and is open to the public.
A wide range of presenters will offer informative displays and spirited performances to highlight various rituals, distinctive music and a variety of cuisines.
Following the festival at 8:00 p.m., nationally-acclaimed vocalist, Zeshan B, will perform his signature blend of 鈥淓ast meets West鈥 soul music. His performance is free and open to the public.
According to Tim McGee, chaplain and coordinator of interfaith and inclusion initiatives, "Zeshan B is the perfect concluding performance for the Multicultural Festival because he creates powerful, beautiful music by finding and forging connections between different musical and cultural traditions."
Admission to the Multicultural Festival is $2 for adults, $1 for children ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under (cash only). All 同性恋色情 students, faculty and staff will receive free admission with ID card.
